Day 1: General Tips for Getting Kids Ready for School During an Uncertain Year

Thank you to everyone joining us for this series. Over the past few months, one of the key lessons that I have learned is how connected we are as a community. We need all different people in our communities in order to function optimally.

For many families, the need for childcare and school has been an absolute and they have experienced significant disruption and stress as a result of closures.

As such, it is my hope that we can work collaboratively to ease the transition for children, youth, parents and educators in successfully and safely returning to school this fall.

Today’s post is all about general tips and considerations. Over the next few weeks, we will dive into some details – but to start – I thought it might be helpful to think about some of the key messages.

If you have questions or comments about the tips, please do not hesitate to message us or comment below.
